This Sunday I was able to get some hours on the sea in my boat, engine is working great but something is not as it should be with the hydroulic steering, just a bagatelle but on the sea I need everything to be 100%. I can shape a sheet of metal into whatever but engines and mechanic devices is not my strongest sides. A few hours into the fishing we became surrounded by theese small whales, not sure of the english name for them but in Norway we call them "springer". I believe they where attracted by the echo from the fishfinder. They were swimming alongside the boat and under for an hour or so and I tried to get them on film but that is not easy when they are diving and showing up again at the other side of the boat.
The fishing has been poor for weeks now and it seems like several anglers around bodø is experiencing the same, this day became a lot like many other days this autumn cought some fish but no real fights and no halibut. Lots of fish on the fishfinder but they seems to be hard to catch.
I have spent some time today looking for my multiple card reader but I could not find it so there is no pics or films on this post sorry, see if I can fix that tomorrow.
